The Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge, a leading publisher based in Pimlico, came to us in 2016 for charity audit services through a recommendation. However, a perfect storm of acquiring a new subsidiary, introducing new accounting software and a major change in charity reporting proved to be year end challenges which meant they needed us to work together with them in a cooperative way.
Solution
We were able to give clear and practical advice on how to comply with the new reporting regime and worked hand in hand with the Financial Director to ensure accurate accounts were still able to be prepared and audited within the reporting deadlines.
