Director

Miriam advises a range of both commercial and charitable clients on all aspects of financial accounting and audit, with a particular aptitude for negotiating complex regulatory issues. She regularly provides training to both the staff and trustees or directors of clients.

Miriam is also a Chartered Tax Advisor with a special interest in VAT, and has provided specialist advice to a national charity on this subject, as well as dealing with a number of other complex areas including land transactions and international services.

Miriam enjoys working with clients who are looking for support and advice as their business or organisation grows, and regularly attends Board Meetings to advise directors and trustees.

When not advising clients, Miriam enjoys being creative with both sewing and cooking, and is active in a local church. The furthest Miriam has travelled for an audit assignment was to Moscow, where she was auditing a project for a charitable client – in Russian!
